This is a live edge floating shelf (also called as natural edge floating shelf), made of solid oak wood. The piece photographed is a special one, as its bark was damaged by some kind of bark insect (like bark beetle), resulting in these interesting, natural holes. Please note as this is a made-to-order live edge floating shelf, your order may not include such pattern – if you are interested, let us know and we will try to look for such wood.
